S/MIME' <draft-ietf-smime-password-06.txt> as a Proposed Standard.
This document is the product of the S/MIME Mail Security Working
Group. The IESG contact persons are Jeffrey Schiller and Marcus
Leech.
Technical Summary
This protocol describes a password-based content encryption mechanism
for CMS. It is an extension to RFC2630.
Working Group Summary
There was working group concensus on this protocol. One minor comment
was received during last call, which resulted in a minor change to
the document.
