--------------------------------------
You may review the report below and at:
https://www.rfc-editor.org/errata/eid6735

--------------------------------------
Type: Technical
Reported by: Ernst Lawende <ernstl(_at_)fenestrae(_dot_)com>

Section: 4

Original Text
-------------
        ESSCertIDv2 ::=  SEQUENCE {
            hashAlgorithm           AlgorithmIdentifier
                   DEFAULT {algorithm id-sha256},
            certHash                 Hash,
            issuerSerial             IssuerSerial OPTIONAL
        }

Corrected Text
--------------
        ESSCertIDv2 ::=  SEQUENCE {
            hashAlgorithm           AlgorithmIdentifier
                   DEFAULT {id-sha256},
            certHash                 Hash,
            issuerSerial             IssuerSerial OPTIONAL
        }

Notes
-----
No value assignment for 'algorithm' exists, and the definition of id-sha256
already contains the full object identifier.
