Just a thought I had for spam detection: what about testing if you could
connect to port 25 on the sending MTA?


So long as you don't want to get any mail from Yahoo, Google, Hotmail,
AOL, Comcast, or anyone else who uses separate inbound and outbound
servers, it should work great.
