No it doesn't, because your overloading of DNS names for this purpose
interferes with their utility for other purposes.

What other purposes do DNS names have other than identifying a host, or
possibly a service?

trying to make DNS names serve as connection endpoint identifiers dilutes 
their utility as host or service names.
