Hi,
Before mentioning the latest issue, allow me to introduce the new website for
IETF Journal:
<https://www.ietfjournal.org/>
In addition to providing online versions of all articles, the site allows for
reader comments and sharing articles via popular social networks which we hope
will increase reader engagement with IETF Journal content and help to
disseminate news about the work of the IETF to a wider audience.
Please check out the site and let the team know what you think via
ietfjournal(_at_)isoc(_dot_)org.
The latest issue of the IETF Journal (Volume 12, Issue 1) is now available
online:
<https://www.ietfjournal.org/journal-issues/july-2016/>
Our cover article this issue was prompted by a presentation and debate that
took place in the sunset4 Working Group on the subject of declaring IPv4
Historic. Read Lee Howard’s and Geoff Huston’s perspectives and make up your
own mind!
In addition, we have Working Group updates from L3SM and TAPS, observations
from one of the Internet Society Fellowship to the IETF Programme participants,
a view from the pre-IETF Hackathon, and an article about a potential new
technology direction for the IETF, namely Intelligent Transportation Systems.
You can read this issue online or download the full issue in PDF format. You
can also keep up to date with the latest issue by subscribing to the IETF
Journal as an email edition or have it delivered to your postal address in
hardcopy.
Hardcopies will be available as usual at the upcoming IETF 96 meeting in
Berlin, Germany.
Many thanks to all our contributors. Please send any comments or suggestions
for future issues to ietfjournal(_at_)isoc(_dot_)org.
Regards,
Mat
