Follow-up Comment #1:
mhopt.pl modified to set readmail:: vars before db is read.
Previous readmail:: initialization was probably an attempt
at a minor performance enhancement, which is generally
non-applicable for most mhonarc use cases.
Fix checked into CVS and will show up in next shapshot build.
