In an email folder conversion to HTML with MHonArc 2.0.0 alpha 2, I am
using the following specification in the resource file for the appearance
of links to messages from the thread index:
<TLITXT>
<STRONG>$SUBJECT$</STRONG><BR>
<EM>From</EM>: $FROMNAME$<BR>
<EM>Date (Year/Month/Day)</EM>: $YYMMDD$<P>
</TLITXT>
The resulting output in the thread index follows that specification, but
ONLY for follow-up messages, not for those at the "beginning of a thread"
-- they still appear according to the default value, which is:
<TLITXT>
($NUMFOLUP$) <STRONG>$SUBJECT:40$</STRONG>, <EM>$FROMNAME$</EM>
</TLITXT>
Here is an example (from test-conversion of older messages of the DIGLIB
mailing list) of the appearance of one "beginning-of-thread" message and
two "possible follow-ups":
(0) Re: Storage problems, IFLA
<Possible follow-up(s)>
Re: Storage problems
From: Kuny Terry
Date (Year/Month/Day): 95/09/18
Re: Storage problems
From: Kuny Terry
Date (Year/Month/Day): 95/09/22
Another example (from test-conversion of messages of the Pine-Info mailing
list), here of one "beginning-of-thread" message, an explicit follow-up,
and a possible follow-up:
(1) Re: Got Problems???, George Machiavello
Re: Got Problems???
From: Ed Greshko
Date (Year/Month/Day): 96/11/01
<Possible follow-up(s)>
Re: Got Problems???
From: kirank
Date (Year/Month/Day): 96/11/04
Is there a way to make the TLITXT customization take effect equally for
both original and followup message listing? TIA,
