I understand that the use of MSG-id's could be
handy, but I like the clear sequence-numbering as it is now.
I'm making a complex interface in javascript, and often refer
to the sequence-number, and use it as a JS variable.
If you start using long msg-ids like
<199807311820(_dot_)LAA07413(_at_)mta3(_dot_)nts(_dot_)uci(_dot_)edu>,
they're harder to do JStricks with. (calculating, storing in strings/arrays
etc.)
Probably I'm overreacting, but do get my point ?
Yours,
Werner.
