i recently ran into a strange problem:
some of the archive directories and/or messages can't be
accessed using a browser.
when you click on the directory or message, nothing
happens. you see the hour glass or the clock of your
pointing device indicating that the browser is trying.
but you just can't get into that directory or open
that message.
the error_log doesn't record anything regarding this
problem. the access_log simply logs a normal get
request entry.
what would possibly cause this problem. (i have checked
file permissions - the ones that have this problem have
the same permission and owner/groupship as the good ones).
