I am setting up a few new MHonArc servers and I am getting this really
aggravating error. I was wondering if anyone else has had this or knows
what is causing it.
The systems are RedHat 6.0 , Sendmail 8.9.3 , MHonarc 2.4.0 , Perl
5.005_3
I created an alias in /etc/aliases:
m-test: "|/usr/local/bin/HTML/test"
I have 2 files in /usr/local/bin/HTML:
the first file "test" has:
#!/usr/bin/perl
$cmd = "/usr/bin/mhonarc -add -quiet " .
"-reverse -treverse -outdir /var/www/virtual/test-site/9906 " .
"-rcfile /usr/local/bin/HTML/test.rcs";
open (M2H, "|$cmd");

the second file is "test.rcs":

I have tried the permissions of 755 and 777 on the file "test" ,
and 644 on the file "test.rcs"
Now, when I send an email to m-test(_at_)myserver(_dot_)com and I view the
maillog, I get his error:

I have allowed smrsh in the sendmail configuration, and regenerated a
new sendmail.cf,
this still did not fix the problem..
Any suggestions are welcome,
