It seems that mhonarc tried to create a lock on the archive (see below
error message from log). I can't find a .mhonarc.lck file in the
archive, so I was going to use the FORCE resource. I am wondering how to
implement this. Can I just do it from the comand line using -force. Some
examples would be most welcome.
Thanks.
Since you may have more than one process trying to update the
archive at the same time, using -force to override mhonarc's
locking is probably a bad idea.
It might be better to change the LOCKDELAY and LOCKTRIES resources,
or to update the archive from a cron script instead of piping
mail directly into mhonarc.
lockdelay can also be specified from the command line, e.g.,
mhonarc -lockdelay 15
