Re: How to set the starting MSGNUM from 0 to arbitrary number

Hi Michael,

The messages might start from ms00597.html with the "-add" option, however
the index.html was not modified automatically. The index.html still has
msg00000.html and msg00001.html.

When the following command was run, there was a error message.
inet{server}%: /usr/local/depot/MHonArc2.3.0beta/bin/mhonarc -rcfile
/testing/listproc-8.2/MailingLists/EDInfo/src/EDInfo.config -add -outdir

Any further suggestions?

Thanks.

In the "outdir" directory, create an empty file named msg00597.html.

Then run mhonarc with the "-add" option.

Hi,

Could you let me know how to reset the starting MSGNUM from a arbitrary
number instead of 0? I hope the processed messages starting from
msg00598.html instead of the default msg00000.html.

If source files have to been modified, please provide your suggestions.

TIA.
