Imbedding an archive in a PHP page

I am currently using sympa, which uses MHonArc for archiving.

I want to display an archive inside a php page, or at the very least
inside a html page.

The documentation leaves me confused.  I see a lot of detail, but no
overall view, or samples.

Before I spend a lot of time on this, could  anyone send me examples of
this.
