Is there any way I can turn off mhonarc writing the message id in the
HTML? It's not an option to change list software.

Only a problem if you have software that creates message-ids that
include actual email addresses. This is unusual, and with the spam
world we live in today, not recommended.
Since it appears that you are using Lyris as your list manager, I
have noticed some unpleasant things it does with message-ids. Things
I have not seen other list software do.
