charset standards anyway.
However, it appears that cp1252 is a proper subset of
iso-8859-1 from a code-point persective.

=v= I'm not sure what that means?  I tend to think of it as
an improper superset of iso-8859-1, since it's iso-8859-1
plus some Microsoft-only characters ...
