[Namazu-users-en] Search does not report anything the first time.

2006-04-13 15:48:32
Hello,

I recently integrated namazu search into Mailman.
And, I am able to get namazu to search the mailman archives.

However, I am seeing a peculiar problem that I want to ask to the namazu
community.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The first time when I search the archives for a string, namazu reports:

 *Query:* [How to search] <http://pipermail/mailman/Cadadmin/namazu.cgi>

*Display:* 10203050100 *Description:* normalshort *Sort:* by scoreby date in
late orderby date in early orderby title in ascending orderby title in
descending orderby author in ascending orderby author in descending orderby
size in ascending orderby size in descending orderby URI in ascending orderby
URI in descending order
  Results:

References: [ (can't open the index) ]

No document matching your query.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then, immediately if I hit the search button again, namazu reports:

*Query:* [How to search] <http://pipermail/mailman/Cadadmin/namazu.cgi>

*Display:* 10203050100 *Description:* normalshort *Sort:* by scoreby date in
late orderby date in early orderby title in ascending orderby title in
descending orderby author in ascending orderby author in descending orderby
size in ascending orderby size in descending orderby URI in ascending orderby
URI in descending order
  Results:

References: [ magma: 15 ]

* Total 15 documents matching your query.
*

*
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*

*
And fron now on, I can successfully search for any string.
Has anyone seen this behaviour?

Any thoughts and fixes are appreciated.*

*
Thanks
Tom
