Hi Andrew,
Looking at the URLs of the search results on "octave-maintainers", it
suggests a mis-configuration somewhere (rather than a bug).
A search result from the archive page for the word "Boolean", the URL is:
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/cgi-bin/namazu.cgi?query=Boolean&submit=Search%21&idxname=octave-maintainers&max=20&result=normal&sort=score
Then, from a search on that results page the URL is:
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/cgi-bin/namazu.cgi?query=Boolean&submit=Search%21&max=20&result=normal&sort=score
The difference being the first URL has the name of the list in it -
"...idxname=octave-maintainers&max" and the second one does not.
Doing a similar search on one of the lists we host (named Network), for
the word "Fermilab" produes the URL:
https://lists.pcst.co/mailman/search?query=Fermilab&submit=Search%21&idxname=Network&max=20&result=normal&sort=score
...and then from the results page:
https://lists.pcst.co/mailman/search?query=Fermilab&submit=Search%21&idxname=network&max=20&result=normal&sort=score
As you can see, both URLs contain the name of the list - the only
difference is the letter case of the list's name "Network/network".
Regards,
Mark

Hi, Namazu maintainers,
I'm having an issue with using the lists.gnu.org mailing list archive
page which is powered by Namazu. For example, the octave-maintainers
list at http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/octave-maintainers/.
When I initially do a search from that main page, it works. It brings up
a results page with results, and that results page has the same search
form with "Query:" populated with my initial "Search String:" choice.
But then if I click "Search!" on that results page, no matter what I
have filled in for "Query:", it brings up zero results. I'm pretty sure
that's wrong. Under "Results", it says:
Results:
References: [ (can't open the index) ]
No document matching your query.
I can't tell you which version of Namazu it's running, because the
footer just says:
This search system is powered by*Namazu <http://www.namazu.org/>v*
foobar(_at_)namazu(_dot_)org <mailto:foobar(_at_)namazu(_dot_)org>
with no actual version number filled in.
I don't know if that's a Namazu problem or an issue with the
configuration at lists.gnu.org.
Hope you can help with this.
Cheers,
Andrew Janke
