This is to announce that the mailing list MRDEAF-L is now up
and running. MRDEAF-L is oriented towards issues concerning education
of the *mentally retarded deaf*, and is open to teachers, parents, students,
administrators, therapists, researchers, and anyone else who is involved
with or interested in this population.
Please note, MRDEAF-L is concerned with issues regarding persons who
are both mentally retarded *and* deaf, not just one or the other. Both
of those populations already have enormous databases of information
available, whereas the mentally retarded deaf have virtually nothing.
