Integrating PGP with nmh / piping in a format file

Similarly, I would argue that support for the various versions of POP
should be removed from nmh and that the mailer should just call and
external program such as fetchmail which has been specifically tweaked
for such a purpose. Why keep adding features that have already been
implemented in other applications when they can simply be interfaced
into MH? The ability to mix and match is one of mh/nmh's strongest
features.
Ben

I've written a general purpose MIME editor, which I use
instead of mhn/mhbuild. It has a crude command loop syntax,
but will also accept command-line arguments, and includes
the ability to attach files, sign messages, compute
content-md5 (I'm choosing the right moment to tell Sun that
dtmail's Content-MD5 headers are actually broken!) and so
on. I'd be reluctant to suggest it for general use --- I
work in an environment where almost everyone uses Netscape,
so I needed to be able to handle MIME, and it's written with
my own needs very much in mind --- but I'd be happy to give
anyone who wants it a copy.
