Hello,
I'm not sure where this problem actually stems from, just curious if someone
might have a suggestion on how to work around it.
Specifically, I'm running nmh-0.24 with diald-0.16 under RedHat 5.0, and when
I send a message while my machine is not networked, my mail is never
delivered. The error I get is:
post: problem initializing server; [BHST] read from socket timed out
Message not delivered to anyone.
In trying to send the message, diald is successful in bringing up the network,
but maybe not as quick is desired. For reference, sending message using plain
old /bin/mail works fine. Also, I don't recall having this problem with mh.
I'd be grateful for any suggestions. Thanks.
