I'm running sendmail server (NetBSD) and sendmail client
(Debian/Woody-laptop), and I can give you the formula for that.
I tried hard to get both a postfix and exim client to do the SSL
*with* the client certificate I'd given them, and I didn't get anywhere.
I believe that the exim was from Debian-woody, and was a major rev. behind.
I don't recall what result I got with the postfix.
If it helps to have a server side that is already configured, I'd be happy
to sign a certificate for you. (My sendmail MTA is set to relay for
any certificate my CA has signed)
