is there fix for the annotate problem ?

Hi.
A few weeks back, I installed nmh 1.1-rc3, and since then annotation
in exmh doesn't seem to work properly (at all, to be more specific).
When I tried annotation with repl from the command line, that didn't
work either.
The anno program works, so that's not it.
Any ideas as to what could be wrong?
Command used to test:
repl -annotate -inplace -nocc me -filter ~/.mh_filter
