The first google hit for "mh-6.8.4.tar" looks valid.
It also appears there is SourceForge project for preserving
the old MH code base. Check out the list of files at:

BTW, which UCI ftp did you (Lyndon) try to access?
It looks like UCI systems are using nmh 1.1 now, so I'm
not sure if the old MH is available anywhere, except maybe
on some backup tapes.
