Yes, it does whatever ls does.
But if any of those files happen to be a directory, then it results
in an under-the-hood "Nmh-Attachment:" header getting transmitted
all the way to recipients. Is that a bug?
I agree that it is a bug. I don't see that behavior, though
it doesn't matter. For me, directories get encoded as empty
plain text files, which is also broken. But the
Nmh-Attachment header doesn't get passed.
