Huh, I wonder if we support that now? Ok, I guess that's actually an easy
fix; just remove HNGR from a bunch of headers in post.c. Although maybe
that's not such a good idea until we decide how widespread this is.
That RFC linked to RFC 6530, which talked about changes for internationalized
email (basically, UTF-8 everywhere). Are SMTP servers starting to accept
SMTPUTF8? I see gmail doesn't, so I can sleep easy for now. And I don't
quite see what you're supposed to do if you send an email with a non-ascii
character in the address field to a system which doesn't support it.
