FYI, the new (1992) directory standards change the syntax of most of the namingattributes from CHOICE { PrintableString, T61String } to CHOICE { PrintableString, T61String, UNIVERSAL STRING } (with a note that some implementations might not be able to generate, match, or display the last alternative.) UNIVERSAL STRING is apparently defined in the 1992 version of IS 8824 (X.208) which I haven't seen yet. I'll post a message when I found out the details on it. Regards, Rich
