X.500 is in the process of being revised right now! As I understand,
there is an ANSI meeting next week about it. It is VERY late in the
cycle for the 1992 version of the X.500 standard, but someone might be
able to do something at the last moment. I'm not involved in X.500,
particularly, so I am not in a position to do anything, but if someone
is particularly courageous, they could try.
Also- is the X.500 that chose the 2-digit year format the 1988 X.500 or
the 1992 X.500? Maybe X.500 has already fixed the problem????????
