Dear Raymond:
Thank you for your recent letter concerning our coding of
RDN in COST certificates.
1. We were aware of that error in our now already previous
version, but in that version we were also not interoperable
with TIS/PEM.
2. By modifying the coding to comply with TIS, we have at the
same time corrected the sorting aspect. Now we are
interoperable with TIS.
3. However, we believe that our previous solution, but
with lex sorting is better then our current (and TIS's).
4. We suggest that we and TIS go back to your suggestion, but our
this time would be sorted. Anyhow, when you all come to some
definite conclusion, please pass to us and we will immediatelly
implement.
5. Please be so kind and send further suggestions about this
issue to Nada Kapidzic [ nadak(_at_)dsv(_dot_)su(_dot_)se ] who is the main
designer and implementor of COST-PEM (she is not on pem-dev !).
Regards, thanks for your assistance and I am looking forward to
our further mutuall cooperation, hoping that we will soon
exchange fully PEM letters and certificates between our two
implementations.
