Uummmm. Could you state the basis for your terse remark. Yes, an RDN is a SET OF AVA's, and hence, there is no ordering. However, Tom's talking in the context of the DISTINGUISHED ENCODING RULES, one of which states that "the components of a Set type shall be encoded in ascending order of their tag value". -DB
