The obvious problem is that we don't have an X.500 directory.
What on earth are you talking about? The Internet X.500 directory has been up for over a year. The server for the US as well as o=Internet is run by PSI and is named "Alpaca". It can be found at 192.33.4.20 port 17007. The easiest way to access it is to grab and compile ISODE 8.1 and run "dish -call alpaca". brad
