The CommerceNet Network Working Group is sponsoring an in-depth Secure HTTP
description and tutorial presented by EIT and intended for CommerceNet users
of Secure HTTP who wish a better understanding of the protocol and its
implementation. As there is some remaining space for additional attendees,
the CommerceNet Network Working Group is issuing an invitation for other
interested parties to attend, up to the limits of available space. While
the agenda includes some Secure HTTP tutorial information, this session is
*not* an HTTP or Web tutorial, and experience with Web application
construction will be assumed.
The meeting is scheduled for the afternoon of Wednesday, November 16, from
1pm to 5pm, at a location in the San Francisco Bay Area near Stanford
University. The meeting agenda will cover: Secure HTTP introduction and
tutorial; a session on implementing Secure HTTP applications; and a Q&A
session on Secure HTTP. In order to register for attendance to this
meeting, please send your request by email to
heathman(_at_)eit(_dot_)com(_dot_) I will
process the requests on a first come first served basis and send back a
confirmation message with more detail on the meeting. Thank you.
