RIPEM 2.1 has been released which documents the RIPEM application
programming interface. This is mainly meant to help developers of
mail agents imbed privacy enhancement capability. You can read the
document (without needing an ftp account) at
ftp://ripem.msu.edu/pub/crypt/ripem/ripemapi.txt .
To get the source code you need an account (see
ftp://ripem.msu.edu/pub/crypt/GETTING_ACCESS) but you can also
download the signature-only version (RIPEM-SIG) from
ftp://ripem.msu.edu/pub/crypt/ripem/ripemsig/binaries.
