The IESG has received a request from the Privacy-Enhanced Electronic
Mail Working Group to consider "Security Multiparts for MIME:
Multipart/Signed and Multipart/Encrypted"
<draft-ietf-pem-sigenc-03.txt> for the status of Proposed Standard.

The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and
solicits final comments on this action. Please send any comments to
the iesg(_at_)cnri(_dot_)reston(_dot_)va(_dot_)us or 
ietf(_at_)cnri(_dot_)reston(_dot_)va(_dot_)us mailing lists by
July 6, 1995.
