My question is, how did this junk get posted to the pem-dev list, which
requires a subscription? The addressee was
info-pem-dev(_at_)uunet(_dot_)uu(_dot_)net, yet it
was routed through neptune.tis.com. If someone at TIS has entered my name onto
another list without my permission, would they please remove it?

Shall we each send a flaming message back to the sender,
britestar(_at_)dub-news-svc-1(_dot_)compuserve(_dot_)com ? I've already
sent mine.
I still hope to keep the inevitable inrush of junk mail off the
"superhighway" for as long as possible...
Well, I sent mail to
postmaster(_at_)dub-news-svc-1(_dot_)compuserve(_dot_)com, asking
that the user be appropriately disciplined. I'm pretty sure what
he/she/it did violates the CI$ rules of use.
If everyone did this, perhaps Compuspend would get the idea that people
are not pleased.
