According to my copy of (1988) X.400, proof of delivery is a SIGNATURE (not a SIGNED) of the content, content ID, recipient name, etc. So the whole content is not actually present in the delivery report, unless one explicitly requests the much-maligned "return of contents" service. Regards, Rich
