Greetings,
I have a feeling everyone who was interested in "Certification" issues who was
subscribed to PEM-DEV has already transitioned and subscribed to PKIX by now.
If you are interested to, but you have not yet done so, then please do so now.
I don't see what is the benefit in having cross-postings between these two
lists. We simply all receive duplicate copies of every message.
Regards,
Ali
If in fact the membership of the two mailing lists is almost identical, then I
apologize for double posting. However, I see a substantial difference in the
interests between the two groups, although there is a considerable amount of
overlap.
The PEM list continues to serve a useful purpose for discussing MOSS, S/MIME,
and other similar issues, I feel, whereas the intent of the ietf-pkix list was
to concentrate on the CA infrastructure issues. Not the same focus, and not
necessarily the same constituency. In addition, I believe that pem-dev is
echoed to an info-pem-dev news group, whereas to the best of my knowledge
ietf-pkix is not.
Perhaps the listmaster of both groups could compare names?
