Reminder #1: The planned code freeze for 5.8.0 RC1 is Monday the 25th.
That's only one week from now. If you have any bugs that you consider
to be show-stoppers, now it's the time to start ringing the bells.
For example: this snapshot, if I understood correctly, should have
some relief towards the XML::* problems, but I don't think the issues
are fully resolved yet, right? (E.g. does XML::Parser need a new
release?) Any other bugs of 5.7.3 still with us?
Reminder #2: If you have bugs you like to see fixed, I suggest you try
real hard to fix them yourself: my plate is overflowing with UTF-8 bugs,
and I guess I'm the fool who has to try to fix them.
