Yes, but not ON the box.
I used the character version of x3270 (ummm, ? s3270) to screen scrape a bunch 
of sessions from a linux box.  Then I used Perl Expect to control them.

Does anyone out there have any experience with getting EXPECT to work on
z/OS??? 

We'd like to use Perl and Expect to handle some interactive processing
on remote boxes... But alas, no luck so far.
