Huh? These files are self-limiting. The number after the -D is the
size in bytes above which the older entries will be removed. E.g., my
.procmailrc has
:0 Wh:.msgid.lock
|formail -Y -D 12288 .msgid.cache
so the file never exceeds 12288 bytes by very much.
