In my .procmailrc I have an entry as follows:
:0 w
* ^Subject: Guestbook:egilk
| /home/egilk/bin/www >>/home/egilk/pub/egilk/gbook1.html
This is to catch responses to am HTML form. The problem is that this
condition does not seem to hold. The mails I receive are always according to
the following layout:
From www(_at_)frogner(_dot_)sn(_dot_)noWed Dec 27 02:34:50 1995
Date: Wed, 27 Dec 1995 02:19:38 +0100
From: World Wide Web eier <www(_at_)frogner(_dot_)sn(_dot_)no>
Reply to: egilk(_at_)sn(_dot_)no
To: egilk(_at_)oslonett(_dot_)no
Subject: Guestbook:egilk
name : Foo Bar
email : foo(_at_)bar
Now, if I move the Subject line (manually), everything works OK:
From www(_at_)frogner(_dot_)sn(_dot_)noWed Dec 27 02:34:40 1995
Date: Wed, 27 Dec 1995 02:18:08 +0100
Subject: Guestbook:egilk
From: World Wide Web eier <www(_at_)frogner(_dot_)sn(_dot_)no>
Reply to: egilk(_at_)sn(_dot_)no
To: egilk(_at_)oslonett(_dot_)no
name : Foo Bar
email : foo(_at_)bar
Quite obviously, the problem seem to be related to the fact that the Subject
last line of the header. I've tried various ".*" variations, but none of
these seem to work. The Subject line is the only one which tells me which
form the mailing comes from, and the fixed (for me) mail script always
places this as the last entry.
I am running procmail 3.10 on Linux 1.2.13, BTW. There seems to be no
other problems with the procmail setup, I've been using it extensively.
Very handy it is, too, and I also find the "formail" and "lockfile"
utilities very useful.
Has anyone else seen this, and indeed, can anyone point me to a fix?
