1) Access state
---------------
We are using HPs and our mail is not correctly installed.
What is happening is that each time procmail runs my mailfile
ends up with wrong access state:
before running : -rw-rw----
after running : -rw-------
Do you know a way to have the access state being correct?
I believe you must reconfigure procmail for this. However, after minor
source code scanning, I don't offhand see how one would do it.
2) Manuals
----------
In the version that I have, I haven't found any information (neither
in FAQ nor in man) about the ":" statements present in .procmailrc
e.g. ":0 c".
Where these statements are defined?
From the procmailrc(5) manpage:
Recipes
A line starting with ':' marks the beginning of a recipe.
It has the following format:
:0 [flags] [ : [locallockfile] ]
<zero or more conditions (one per line)>
<exactly one action line>
(This leaves out the old style recipes, where the number of conditions
was the number after the colon. That should probably be mentions in
a NOTE on the procmailrc manpage.)
