Hi there,
I have mail aliases on two types of platforms, some DEC's running
Ultrix 4.4, and a Sun (supposedly running Unix system V). I installed
procmail in my ultrix account and for mail being handled by the DEC's it
seems to work fine. BUT any mail being directly handled by the Sun
bounces to postmaster. So I read the man pages and the faq, saw the
advanced instructions, and even compiled a binary for both platforms.
But I'm not sure how to write a .forward that can check which
binary it needs to run. I tried variations of the two advanced examples
which came with procmail 3.10, but they didn't work.
So I think that's the problem. But, just in case, here is a
transcript from the Sun which might explain more (or might not).
