I found out where the problem was. (Setting VERBOSE=yes helps a lot) Seems
like the `formail -1 -ds' dies as soon as the first message from the
digest is appended. So, I need to add the i flag. Furthermore, I need the
w flag, to make sure the lockfile isn't removed too soon. Finally, I get:

| formail -1 -ds >>wfrp-digest-head
This should work now.
