I am trying to remove the first word in the Subject line after it being
matched and haveing the Subject set as the remainder of what the subject
line was set to...
EXAMPLE:
From: anyone(_at_)thier(_dot_)address
To: me(_at_)my(_dot_)address
Subject: magicword the rest of subject
now the receipie i seen in the best_of_procmail_list:
:0
* ^Subject: *magicword\>.*\/[^ ].*
| formail -I"Subject: $MATCH" | flist whatever_other_args
Does not work... could this have something to do with it:
procmail v3.06pre3 1994/08/26 written and created by Stephen R. van den Berg
this is the version installed by my ISP so by installing my own i will
lose certain benifits, yes or no?
well anyways is their another way to accomplish this with out
installing the updated version?
