Auto Subscription blues

Ok everyone, now that my auto subscription works I have to deal with idiot
l-user's who can't read and send me their subscription requests in teh
BODY of the message instead of the SUBJECT.... how can I detect EITHER
request?? Here's the first half of the recipe....
