group forwarding / wrong subject line etc. :-)

1996-06-07 04:48:29
I thought I'd supply some more info about my group forwarding problem:

Here is the header of a mail sent from relay(_at_)brainpools(_dot_)com to
test(_at_)brainpools(_dot_)com, an address the recipe is looking out for to
forward
mail on to marcfest(_at_)cris(_dot_)com and freiling(_at_)cris(_dot_)com(_dot_)
Here's the recipe:

:0
*$^To: (_dot_)*test(_at_)brainpools(_dot_)com
| formail -i "Reply-To: test(_at_)brainpools(_dot_)com" | $SENDMAIL -oi
marcfest(_at_)cris(_dot_)com, freiling(_at_)cris(_dot_)com

And below is a header of the mail as it arrives at marcfest(_at_)cris(_dot_)com
and
freiling(_at_)cris(_dot_)com(_dot_)

Two things bother me:

1. even though the subject line at the end states the right subject
("test"), it won't be displayed by the receiving mail reader. Instead the
subject say "Marc Fest", the name under which my account at the virtual
domain provider is registered.

2. The header states both "marcfest(_at_)cris(_dot_)com" and
"freiling(_at_)cris(_dot_)com":
"Apparently-To: freiling(_at_)cris(_dot_)com Apparently-To:
marcfest(_at_)cris(_dot_)com"
I only want all these addresses to show up.

As I said, any help will be very much appreciated.

Cheers from Bleecker St.

Marc.
