Well, a friend and I are having this argument about what is procmail
written in, I say it is an interface to some shell scripts.
Alan 's page mentions something about it being a" paclage of fairly small
and efficient mail handling programs: procmail, formail, lockfile, etc "
that wasnt very descriptive etc.
Umm, you could actually get the source and look:
% ls src/
Makefile ecommon.c goodies.c mailfold.c procmail.c
Makefile.0 ecommon.h goodies.h mailfold.h procmail.h
Makefile.init exopen.c header.h manconf.c recommend.c
_locktst.pid exopen.h hsort.c mcommon.c regexp.c
acommon.c fields.c hsort.h mcommon.h regexp.h
acommon.h fields.h includes.h misc.c robust.c
autoconf formail.c lastdirsep.c misc.h robust.h
common.c formail.h lastdirsep.h multigram.c setid.c
common.h formisc.c lockfile.c network.h shell.h
cstdio.c formisc.h locking.c pipes.c sublib.c
cstdio.h gethome.c locking.h pipes.h sublib.h
