How to set up a generic autosponder

1997-04-20 06:44:00
Hello!

I'm new to procmail and I would like to set up a generic autoresponder
without creating user accounts (I simply would like to use aliases).

I added the following line to /etc/aliases :

help: "/usr/bin/procmail -m FILE=/etc/texts/help /etc/procmailrcs/autoreply"

and have the following lines in /etc/procmailrcs/autoreply :

:0 hc
* !^FROM_DAEMON
* !^X-Loop: autoreply-daemon(_at_)nice(_dot_)it
| (formail -r -I "Precedence: junk" \
               -I "X-Loop: autoreply-daemon(_at_)nice(_dot_)it"; \
              cat $FILE ) | $SENDMAIL -t

Then, when I send a mail to help(_at_)nice(_dot_)it I get the outgoing message
in my
mailbox...

What's wrong ? Is there anyone who could help me ?

Thanks,
Alessandro Bucci
