How does a person on a unix machine typically approve other people's posts
to moderated lists? Pine's bounce command does not seem to offer me the
ability to add a password in a header, so even if it did add in my custom
headers that would not help if there is a moderator password since I could
not want the password to be stuck into every item of mail I ever post. I
would put the Approve header into pine's custom headers without the
password and plan to add the password only when posting to particular
lists, manually adding the password appropriate to that list.

I am thinking perhaps "formail" is the normal tool for this.. Piping
through "formail" might conceivably be so simple that its sheer simplicity
might explain the apparent lack of an "approve" script such as majordomo
comes with.

Having just set someone up with a moderated list i am anxious to tell them
how the heck they are supposed to moderate it.

Blessed Be. -MarkM-
