Here is my questions. I have just installed the spambouncer config
files and
something a little strange is happening. Previously any message not
otherwise processed by procmail wound up in my system defaul mailbox. i
had not doen anything special to acomplish this it was just the default
behavior of procmail. Now messages that should go to this mailbox are
being sent there by one of the recipes you provided. I am getting the
following error message in the procmail logs.
## procmail: Lock failure on "/usr/mail/stan.lock"
Mye default mailbox is /usr/mail/stan. The permissions on it are:
-rw-rw---- 1 stan mail 8287475 Jul 11 11:22 stan
The permissions on the /usr/mail directory are:
drwxrwxr-x 2 bin mail 1024 Jul 11 12:57 mail
Permissions on procmail are:
-rwsr-sr-x 1 root mail 53976 Jun 22 00:24
/usr/local/bin/procmail
I am concerned about coruption of my mailbox, and I don't understand
why procmail can't get the lock. Do you?
